When I was a young banana

When I was young, I used to go to pbk for Malay tuition. There was this guy called Freeman (come to think of it, his name is unique) who sat in front of me. One day, he turned back to me and asked me whether I had a "ze dian" (dictionary). I had to idea what was that and being young and didn't want to admit that I didn't know what was that, I told him "Mei you" (don't have) just to avoid him from asking me to give it to him when I had no idea what the heck was that. Haha guess what? The next moment, I had to use the dictionary and I took it out to use. It was super embarrassing because he saw it and he said I was selfish. Haha

The following week, he asked for "Jian hu" (glue) and I was still reluctant to spill my pride on the floor so I gave him the same answer as the previous week before taking out my glue to use. He said I was selfish again.

Pitcher Plants

Two weeks ago, the bio students in my school went on a school trip to look at beautiful pitcher plants.














It looks like a toilet bowl and hence, it is called Nepenthes Jamban.

Trip to Damai Beach

Our prefectorial board went to Damai Beach right after our 2nd Semester Exam.



We were on the way to Damai. Hehe it was like a coffee shop in the bus.


We had a briefing and we were given the keys to our rooms

Free from exams...

On the first night, my friends and i had steamboat dinner in the guys' chalet.







The next day, Xu Vin and I woke up at 6.30am to swim because we knew that the pool would be empty. When we reached the pool, the guy told us to swim after 8am because they were still cleaning up the pool. Sigh. In the end, we walked around the beach to take pictures. The rest of my friends were sleeping like pigs.

Usually, people will have breakfast right after they wake up. For us, we painted our nails before we had breakfast. haha




Adelle wrapped me up like a popiah with the blanket and tried to eat me.

After breakfast, we went swimming at the pool and beach.

During the trip, we managed to paint many of the guys' nails too. Lol


On the last day, we just swam at the pool and went around taking pictures.

Flame of the Forest Flowers (Delonix regia) and Orchid Flower (Dendrobium)

Yesterday, we had to search for Delonix regia. The trees were so tall and teacher actually asked us to climb to get the flower for our Bio practical. Thank God we are girls. We asked the guys to climb for us instead but in the end, only Bryan could climb it. We found one of the trees behind Sarawak Museum and it was not that tall compared to the other trees around. We were lucky. =)

We managed to break the whole branch and we collected one whole pail of the flowers.

As for the orchids, we bought them in town. This morning, when we brought the flowers to school, our teacher was shocked to see us bringing so many into the lab. She even asked whether we were preparing for a wedding. Actually, we just need one flower each. Haha

Last but not least,

Animal Cruelty Vs SSPCA

We had to go to school last saturday morning for our Bio practical again.



When we reached school, we had to find empty dustbins and fill them up with water to drown our rats.



The rat was gasping for air. In the end, it died with its head facing upwards as it was trying to gasp for air.

In the afternoon, our Interact Club organized a trip to SSPCA. We were suddenly so loving towards animals. Haha
